- Windows SkyDrive @ skydrive.live.com
Thes gave a location of London in the UK, which Iw as not expecting as I know that MSN is a large US company, even through the Microsoft userbase is distributed around the globe, this may have been pure luck, or maybe they are “localising” peoples data to datacentres int heir country.
- Google Docs @ docs.google.com
Again this search ended up in London, which I was not expecting as I know Google is one of the biggest US dotcom successes ever.
- Mobile Me @ www.me.com
Once again this search ended up in London.
- My site @ codejourneys.net
My hosting company is a UK based company, so this time I was not suprised to see that London was the location that I recieved.
( NB all searches ran using ‘from: This server’ as opposed to ‘this computer’ )
